Standard Office Product Lines

Our fabric covered rests may be easily cleaned using standard upholstery cleaners.

Our experience has show that Lustre-Clene tm rug and upholstery cleaner is very effective at removing common ink and coffee stains. It is available from us in 1/2 oz. packages (Approximately 40 applications). Use 1/8 teaspoon per 1 oz. warm water. Using a soft bristle brush work up suds. With brush full of foam work foam into fabric over spot. Use a back and forth motion to remove stains. Wipe off foam and dirt with a clean, damp cloth. Part number UC1 @ $ 3.00/pkg.

 

Vinyl Industrial/Medical Product Lines

Our vinyl covered industrial/medical rests may removed by using the following cleaning methods:

 

Light soiling:

A solution of 10 percent household liquid dish soap with warm water applied with a soft damp cloth. If necessary, a solution of a liquid cleanser and water applied with a soft bristle rush. Wipe away the residue with a water dampened off.

Disinfecting:

Dampen a soft white cloth with rubbing alcohol and rub gently. Other disinfectants may be applied using this same process. Rinse with a water dampened cloth to remove any remaining rubbing alcohol concentration.

Heavy soiling:

Dampen a soft white cloth with lighter fluid (naptha) and rub gently. Rinse with a water dampened cloth.

 

For more difficult stains:

Dampen a soft white cloth with a solution of household bleach: 10 percent bleach, 90 percent water. Rub gently. Rinse with a water dampened cloth to remove bleach concentration. If necessary bleach concentration can be increased to remove stains.

 

Note: to restore luster, a light coat of spray furniture wax may be used. Apply for 30 seconds and follow with a light buffing using a clean white cloth.

Our vinyl covered ESD/Cleanroom rests may removed by using the following cleaning methods:

 

These products are covered with high quality, black vinyl that has a thin conductive coating. (Surface resistivity <1.0 x 10 to the 6th power ohms/sq.) Extreme care should be used when cleaning these products to avoid damage to the conductive coating. Warm water and a soft cloth are recommended.
